    I have to say, I am a HUGE Interpol fan! I was also one of the few that actually loved Our Love To Admire. With that being said, I have to agree with most of the pundits in the reviews above. I am finding myself very disappointed with the new album. Not very cohesive, and yes, as much as I hate to say it, dull. Have listened numerous times, from beginning to end, and still find it lacking any inspiration. Just seems tepid. My favorite songs are actually Success, Lights, and Barricade, although I hated the live version of Barricade on Dave Letterman. So yeah, I guess this is the first time I am disappointed with an Interpol outing. Will still be buying it when it comes out, but will definitely look for it at a deep discount~

    Craig, please feel free to discard the above comment! I must say, it took quite a few listens, but after a couple listens, in a slightly altered state, I might add, it has taken hold, and I actually love the new album! Can't wait for release day, to get the proper copy!

    I've been a big fan from the start, and I have to say that this may very well be their crown jewel. Maybe the reason this doesn't work for so many people is that it is as its best when it's listened to from start to finish with no interruptions. Personally, if this came out as their debut I think people would be singing a different tune about liking it more vs. not liking it, and they would say that Bright Lights is a departure from the dark and brooding sound that put them on the map. Just my opinion.
